Nelia DeAmaral, has a Degreee in Psychology and is a member of the Member of the OACCPP (Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists & Psychotherapists). She is also a certified Yoga/Mindfulness teacher. She has specialized training in solution-focused counseling, depression, anxiety, birth trauma healing, and perinatal bereavement.

Nelia has been coaching women during life changes & challenges for over 20 years. Her unique approach helps you approach life challenges with greater clarity, confidence & compassion. Integrate body, mind and spirit through various tools ranging from mindfulness practices, mind-body awareness, and concrete solution-focused coaching.

Nelia is also an advanced Birthing from Within Mentor, Certified Doula with CAPPA Canada and a published author (Bearing Witness, Joyful Birth, Lamaze: Giving Birth With Confidence& Sage Magazine). MARIANNE O'BYRNE,  Doctoral-Level Clinical therapist, M.A., Ph.D. Candidate

Marianne35 square 1Marianne O’Byrne is a Ph.D. Candidate in Counselling and Clinical Psychology at the University of Toronto (OISE/UT). Her recent professional and training experience includes positions at the Mental Health Program of North York General Hospital, the Psychological Trauma Program and the Clinical Research Unit at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), as well as a clinical research therapist treating Generalized Anxiety Disorder through York and Ryerson Universities. She primarily works within the frameworks of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). She has a breadth of experience providing assessment and treatment for adolescents (12 years of age and older) and adults with anxiety and mood disorders. Marianne also enjoys assessing and treating for stress management, self-esteem, and other interpersonal and behavioral difficulties. In addition to her clinical work, her research and personal clinical interests include the lived experiences of pregnant and postpartum women in their bodies as they transition from pregnancy to postpartum, with a particular focus on the biological, social, psychological and behavioral factors impacting this important transitional period. Outside of work and school, Marianne is also a proud mother of a three wonderful and energetic children and enjoys outdoor activities, such as hiking.
