Pediatric physiotherapy treats infants, children and youth with congenital conditions, orthopedic and neurological injuries. We aim to help improve your child’s gross motor skills and mobility. At The WOMB, Lea uses a client and family centered approach to care, working with you to identify your child’s goals and to create an individualized treatment program. She uses a combination of hands-on treatment and exercise prescription through fun and functional activities.
Over the years, Lea has been fortunate to work at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital and McMaster Children's Hospital with a variety paediatric populations including, Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Cord Injuries, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, etc. She has successfully completed her level one in Cueves MEDEK Exercises, Dynamic Core for Kids and a variety of courses regarding management children with Cerebral Palsy.
